May 17, 2024

Both group and solo study have their unique advantages.
Group Study
Pros:
- Share different perspectives.
- Fill in gaps in your own notes.
- Stay motivated and accountable.
- Teaching others reinforces your own learning.
Cons:
- Can be distracting.
- Scheduling can be difficult.
- Pace might be too fast or too slow.
Solo Study
Pros:
- Study at your own pace.
- Fewer distractions.
- Focus on your specific weak areas.
- Complete control over your study environment.
Cons:
- Can lead to procrastination.
- No one to ask for immediate clarification.
- Can be isolating.
The best approach is often a hybrid one. Use solo sessions to grasp the material and group sessions to review, discuss, and test your knowledge.
